We are excited about this particular lens. The Voightländer Zoomar was the first zoom lens ever and was introduced to the public in 1959.
The particularly natural bokeh and the golden reddish flairs distinguish this lens in particular. A slight sharpness drop at the image edges creates a very natural perception, with hardly noticeable chromatic aberration. Fortunately for Angenieux, Voigtländer has not entered the cine zoom business. The Optimo gets a serious competitor with this lens.
